Hennadii Zubko, Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine, has stated today at the 2^nd All-Ukrainian Forum of Amalgamated Hromadas that the state provides hromadas with maximum assistance, powers, resources, and efficient development tools. In 2018, state support will reach almost UAH 18,5 billion.

“Over three years, the state support for the development of hromadas and their infrastructure has increased by 30 times, in 2014 it was only half a billion. And in 2018 it will reach UAH 18,5 billion: 6 billion from the State Regional Development Fund, 1,9 billion as AH subvention, 5 billion for rural healthcare development, 5 billion for social and economic development subvention, 250 million for Potable Water programme implementation, 370 million for construction of football fields,” said Hennadii Zubko.

The Vice Prime Minister has emphasised that new projects aimed primarily at changing of the quality of services are expected from hromadas today. “We expect you to come up with quality projects that will meet your development strategies and focus on improvement of educational, preschool, healthcare, administrative services, etc.” said the official.

The governor outlined the tasks for hromadas to be resolved in 2018. “Establishment of 200 hub schools and 240 Administrative Service Centres, settlement of problems with preschool education and creation of new workplaces in kindergartens (the current queue at preschool institutions of the country is up to 60 thousand children), development of the primary healthcare link in the rural area and establishment of up to 1,5 thousand outpatient clinics within 2 years. This is the route map outlined by us for the next year, and I hope that MinRegion together with hromadas will succeed in its implementation!” said Hennadii Zubko.
