From amalgamation to success. Journalists visited amalgamated hromadas of Vinnytsya Oblast

On the way from Yakushyntsi, directly adjacent to Vinnytsya, to the 100 km distant Tomashpol, editors and observers learned about the course of reforms in Ukraine, problems and the first successful projects of hromadas’ development. The group of journalists was accompanied by Yuriy Voitsitskyi, regional development advisor of the Vinnytsya Local Government Development Centre, established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe programme and MinRegion.

In Yakushintsy, the guests were met by Vasyl Romanyuk, head of the local amalgamated hromada. The ASC, the branch of the State Architectural and Construction Inspectorate and municipal police help the hromada residents to solve their acute problems and monitor the public amenities provision on the territory.

“We are interested in expanding the number of services provided in our centre. We hope to get support from the U-LEAD with Europe programme,” said Mr Romanyuk.
