The Regional "Investments & Decentralisation" (I&D) Forum under the motto "Investment capacity of hromadas as the key to success" will start at 10 AM on 24 November in coworking space “Svitohlyad” at the address: 108-a, Peremohy Avenue, Chernihiv.

The event is organised by the Chernihiv Local Government Development Centre, established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe programme, and Chernihiv Oblast State Administration.

Forum participants will be able to get acquainted with the positive experience of hromadas’ development, learn how to attract investments for projects’ implementation from different sources, as well as the main trends of regional development and the achievements of the decentralisation processes.

Within the framework of the event, the following topics will be discussed:

- Decentralisation, trends in regional development, new opportunities for hromada capacity building. Exchange of experience and demonstration of best practices of local self-government development.

- Smart-specialisation of hromada and creation of a comfortable investing environment.

- Possibilities of attracting funds from state programmes and extrabudgetary resources for the implementation of hromada development projects.

- Skilled personnel provision, initiative and leadership in hromadas – a condition for growth.

The event will be attended by the representatives of the U-LEAD with Europe programme, International Trade Club in Ukraine, central executive authorities, local state administrations and local self-government bodies, representatives of Ukrainian local self-government associations, civil society, expert and scientific environment, and international partners.
