This spring the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has established the procedure for the voluntary accession of territorial hromadas to the amalgamated ones. Consequently, the procedure was simplified – it is not necessary to hold new elections of deputies and hromadas’ heads. The law made it possible only to additionally select deputies from the newly accessed hromada according to the population number.
