The outflow of young and skilled personnel from Ukraine is now the greatest threat to the state. Therefore, the main task of the local self-government bodies is to show the real results of the decentralisation reform in hromadas to the youth in particular.
It was said by Hennadii Zubko, Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine, during the conversation with the heads of local self-governments.
He emphasised that young people should see the prospects of self-realisation in their hromadas. "Young specialists in hromadas should be involved in work particularly within municipal institutions and organisations," – said Mr Zubko.
In his view, the restoration of vocational education, as well as the strengthening of the primary healthcare in the village within the framework of healthcare reform will increase the attractiveness of life in AHs. "Young people are looking for jobs in other places, because they have no conditions for their professional and personal fulfillment. We must implement infrastructure investment projects, launch the healthcare reform in rural areas, create a high-quality system of vocational education, and offer motivational packages to young specialists. These are the steps towards a different quality of life and a new quality of the personnel potential of the amalgamated hromadas and the whole country," said Hennadii Zubko.
