Snihurivka urban community is launching a new stage of international cooperation. Ivan Kukhta, Head of the Snihurivka City Military Administration, held a meeting with a delegation from the Municipality of Gentofte (Kingdom of Denmark) led by Mayor Michael Fenger.

The visit was of great importance to the community, which continues to recover after de-occupation. For the first time in the history of Sniрurivka, a Declaration of Partnership, Solidarity and Knowledge Exchange with a foreign municipality was signed. This document officially established a municipal partnership aimed to strengthen unity between communities, exchange cultural values and practical experience in governance, education, public services, as well as citizen safety and emergency preparedness.

During the visit, the Danish partners learned about life in the city under martial law, and a symbolic event took place in the central square of Snihurivka – the flag of Gentofte was solemnly raised next to the local flag.

Ivan Kukhta thanked the guests for their openness and willingness to work together on the development of both communities. He expressed particular gratitude for the planned internship for representatives of Snihurivka within the TIPS4UA programme in 2026.

‘I believe that our cooperation will be fruitful and will bring tangible results for our communities,’ said the Head of the City Military Administration.
