UNICEF Ukraine has prepared a brief overview of Ukraine’s State Budget for 2026, with a focus on financing for social sectors and the needs of children and young people.

The brief summarises key budget expenditures in the areas of education, health, social protection, support to families with children, youth policy, as well as access to clean water and hygiene, including an analysis of expenditure trends over 2021–2026.

Special attention is given to changes in intergovernmental fiscal relations, local-level financing, public investments in social infrastructure, and fiscal risks.

The document may be useful for government institutions, local authorities, development partners, and professionals working in the areas of social policy, education, and recovery.
