The Expert Commission held its second meeting, during which it assessed projects for the central and western macro-regions. At the meeting, 27 projects were approved for a total amount of UAH 372.29 million.

For the western macro-region, 21 projects were approved with funding from the State Fund for Regional Development (SFRD) in the amount of UAH 227.49 million, including:
The state budget for 2025 provides UAH 1 billion for public investment projects through the State Fund for Regional Development.
A territorially-oriented approach was used to allocate funds. In the selection process, priority was given to projects requiring financing from the State Fund for Regional Development of up to UAH 70 million, for which tender procedures have been completed and contracts signed. Implementation of these projects should be completed by the end of 2025.
To ensure fair funding allocation, 50 per cent of the SRDF is allocated to projects in the frontline regions, 30 per cent to the central regions, and 20 per cent to the western regions of Ukraine.
