The Novovorontsovka Military Settlement Administration continually expands its international cooperation. This time, this cooperation is with Croatia.

Andrii Seletskyi, Head of Administration, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Igor Merlić, Director of the Agency for Rural Development of Istria (Croatia). This is the third international agreement the community has concluded.

The agreement creates opportunities for cooperation in the following areas:

• agriculture and agro-processing,
• the development of tourism,
• the exchange of experience in veteran policy.

Istria has a strong track record in establishing agricultural cooperatives, fostering entrepreneurship, and implementing modern agricultural technologies. This experience will form the foundation for implementing similar solutions in the Novovorontsovka community.

In the near future, community representatives will travel to Croatia for an internship to learn about European models of rural development and gain practical experience.

This partnership is about more than just agricultural cooperation; it is also about helping people who have returned from war, as both parties are interested in implementing effective programmes and initiatives for veterans.
