New Grant Opportunity to Strengthen Dialogue Between Authorities and Communities

The USAID HOVERLA Activity invites civil society organizations to implement a grant aimed at strengthening communication skills among community leaders and fostering their dialogue with residents.


Grant Requirements:

  • Develop and conduct a communication and leadership training course for 100 community leaders, including public speaking, message formation, and public engagement.
  • Organize a series of Mayor Briefings on key community topics with media coverage (articles, videos, infographics, etc.).

Grant Duration: 12 months

Applications are due by 5:00 p.m. on November 13, 2024, via hoverlagrants@dai.com.

On November 6 at 12:00 p.m., USAID HOVERLA will host an online grant presentation for potential applicants. Register by November 5 at 5:00 p.m. Sign language interpretation is available upon request in the registration form. For additional requests, email hoverlagrants@dai.com.

The USAID HOVERLA Activity aims to build a long-term platform for active public communication between authorities and communities, supporting the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine in fostering community cohesion, development, and preparing for effective post-war recovery.
