The Partnership and Cooperation Agreement was signed by the cities of Netishyn and Nowy Sącz, Poland.
This is reported by the official website of the Netishyn City Council.
The purpose of the partnership is to create favourable conditions for the further development and prosperity of friendly and economic relations between municipalities.
The partnership between the cities of Netishyn and Nowy Sącz will become a foundation for economic cooperation. The signed agreement covers science, culture and art; education, sports, recreation and tourism; economy, industry and trade, crafts and utilities; exchange of experience.
Incidentally, about 2,000 migrants from Ukraine found shelter in Nowy Sącz.
Participants of the International Summit of Cities and Regions, which was held in Kyiv on April 20, bringing together municipalities from more than 50 countries, declared their readiness to join efforts to help in building a peaceful, democratic and prosperous future, to contribute to the establishment of a comprehensive, just and sustainable peace in Ukraine to ensure international security and stability of the entire world.
