The municipality of Lviv extends its cooperation with the European Union. Earlier, the office of Lviv – the European Youth Capital 2025 was opened in Brussels.
This was announced by Andriy Sadovyi, Mayor of Lviv.
“On Europe Day, we want to announce an important event for Lviv as well as Ukrainian cities. Recently, the office of Lviv – the European Youth Capital 2025 was opened in Brussels. Its presence will make financial programmes and projects more accessible to Ukrainian municipalities,” Andriy Sadovyi wrote on his social media page.
According to him, in addition to striving to become a member of the European family, it is also important to synchronise all integration processes at the inter-municipal level.
“Our physical presence in Brussels will enable Lviv as well as other Ukrainian municipalities to become closer to European processes, traditions and opportunities. We have an important mission to be the voice of Ukrainian cities in the EU today,” said the Lviv Mayor.
Andriy Sadovyi previously emphasised that all heads of municipalities should actively work to ensure that every Ukrainian municipality has partner cities in all democratic countries of the world.
