Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov met with EU Commissioner for Home Affairs Ms Ylva Johansson.

The parties discussed preparations for the heating season and assistance to internally displaced persons.

“The conversation focused preparation for the heating season and assistance to internally displaced persons. I introduced Ms. Commissioner to assistance programs for those who lost their homes due to the armed aggression of the Russian Federation. I also spoke about the formation of a reserve for the heating season,” said Oleksiy Chernyshov.

During the meeting, the parties also discussed the mechanisms of cooperation with Ukrainian municipalities.
