Iryna Vereshchuk: Invaders hold 11 heads of municipalities captive

As of April 3, 11 heads of local municipalities are being held captive by the invaders. This was announced during a briefing by Iryna Vereshchuk, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories.

She stated that the heads of municipalities from the Kyiv, Kherson, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv and Donetsk regions remain in captivity.

“We have been informing the International Committee of the Red Cross about them, as well as about other missing civilians, and through this international organisation, we demand from the Russian Federation to provide information about the whereabouts of captured civilians and their health,” said Iryna Vereshchuk.

Note that according to the CHESNO Movement, since the beginning of the war, the rashists have abducted at least 16 chiefs and heads of municipalities from 6 regions of Ukraine:
