A lot of municipalities from different countries of the world are trying to help their Ukrainian twinned municipalities, particularly, by providing them with financial support. Due to that, financial experts from the Decentralisation Support Office at the MinRegion have prepared the essentials of getting and using such funds.

First of all, it is worth mentioning that the budget establishment currency of account is a UAH, that is why all records must include exclusively UAH.

All transactions of the international aid usage, defined in the foreign currency or those requiring settlement in the foreign currency, are converted into UAH at the exchange rate of the National Bank of Ukraine to be represented in accounting.
