Last week the HOVERLA USAID Project held a series of events under the title of Zbihovysko for activists from the Volyn, Lviv and Poltava oblasts. The project participants together with experts discussed civil participation and its forms, particularly, participation mechanisms, functioning in the municipalities -partners of the Project, as well as defined needs of the local public organisations and activists for more efficient participation in decision making.
Participants were exchanging their municipality experience and challenges, preventing from locals’ involvement, as well as discussing certain involvement mechanisms efficiency.
