One of the latest important steps of the current stage of decentralization is to arrange efficient feedback between local self-government bodies and the territory residents. Certain municipalities are really active and inventive, as a result they achieve good results.
Two years ago, the Merefyanska municipality of the Kharkiv oblast with support of the DOBRE USAID Programme developed a communicative strategy, targeted to arranging more qualitative relations between residents and the authorities, with citizens being involved in its creation.
«We had an aim to teach employees to write messages, distribute them and get feedback from people. Each department has its own channels of spreading information in social media», — said the head of the town council general department Iryna Mykhaylyk.
