When due to donor programme assistance municipalities start working with their youth, their capability increases. The material represents the experience of the Halytsynivska and Terebovlyanska municipalities.

Boys and girls from the municipalities selected on the basis of the competition have gained an opportunity to participate in a set of trainings. Particularly, 4-5 representatives of each municipality have visited a two-day Youth Forum «DOBRE DIY» (Act Well), with the home assignment for participants being to accumulate several development projects ideas. For the projects to be fulfilled the Programme allotted $10 thousand for each partner municipality. However, before getting the money, the municipality had to conduct a discussion of the ideas and a survey of residents about them. Another condition was co-funding of not less than 15% of the project value by the local council.
