Training technologies available to teachers and pupils pose the biggest problem of distant studies

According to almost 80% survey participants, the biggest challenge of distant studies organization at hromada schools is training technologies unavailability to teachers and pupils.

During an online-forum, organized by the U-LEAD with Europe Programme, deputy head of Yuriy Sayenko Centre for Social Expertise at the Institute of Sociology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Gulbarshyn Chepurko, presenting outcomes of the research "Access to education during the COVID-19 restrictions", claimed, "The biggest troubles in the educational sphere related to technical issues. 78% respondents reported a limited access of certain pupils to computers. A family may comprise of two or three kids, parents working remotely, that is why the access was restricted. Other troubles were as follows: up-to-date gadgets unavailability to pupils (63%) and internet connection lack (55%)."
