It was announced the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia Ange Logar during the meeting with the Programme and European partners at the Decentralisation House in Kyiv.
«It is a pleasure for me to be here and to mark Slovenia joining the Programme. Based on the positive Programme outcomes, we’ve decided to activate our participation in decentralization. Slovenia can boast a great experience of decentralization. We are a small country with 2 million population but there are 210 mayors, 210 districts in the country, so we know that decentralization makes the local authorities closer to compatriots, meeting their needs in a better way», - claimed Ange Logar.
