The Velykohaivska and Pidhorodnyanska hromadas have signed a cooperation memorandum, showing the whole region how to become more efficient.

The Velykohaivska hromada is hiring seven employees of the former rayon welfare aid department, taking care of the elderly on the territory of the Pidhorodnyanska hromada, and providing assistance to families, children and young people, being in difficult straits. Pidhorodne pays Velyki Hai approximately UAH 750 thousand annually for this, allotting the money to pay salaries for these employees.

The cooperation memorandum will turn into a full-fledged agreement, approved by sessions of the both local councils.
