The Star of Bethlehem-2021 crib online-festival, organized by the Sofiivska territorial hromada, supported by the U-LEAD with Europe Programme, completed on January, 19 in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

According to the Dnipropetrovsk regional office of the Programme, the Sofiivska settlement territorial hromada of the Dnipropetrovsk region has been holding an open festival-competition for the fourth year in a row, but this year due to the quarantine restrictions it was decided to hold it safely, i. e. online.

100 ensembles from 18 regions of Ukraine made entries and fifteen hundred hromada residents participated in performances. Video performances of the competitors were watched by more than 157 thousand people from all over Ukraine and 26 states (the USA, Great Britain, Italy, Australia, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Israel, etc.).

«Cultural development is vitally important for hromadas. The festival having set the record in terms of the participants and reviews number testifies to the fact that such events are necessary and demanded. That is why we go on uniting Ukraine», - emphasized the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional office of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme Olena Tertyshna.
