A major strategic task on the way of Poltava economic development is to boost local producers export activities. That is why in 2020 the Urban Development Institute communal organization, supported by the international technical assistance project «Partnership for Urban Development» (the PROMIS Project) was implementing an important complex initiative of boosting Poltava enterprises capacities of entering foreign markets and adjusting their produce to importing states demands. More than 20 enterprises, working in three industries: textile, food manufacturing and machinery, have been involved in the project. The first phase of the participation included educational events, part of them was held offline before the COVID-19 pandemic beginning.
