Recently experts and social media have been discussing possible formats and conditions of starosta election at the local election under the incumbent Election Code this year. According to Oleksandr Vrublevskyi, an expert of starosta activity and AHs cooperation, such discussions are triggered by some incoherence of certain Election Code provisions and their inconformity with the legislation, defining the legal status of a starosta position.
