The latest issue of the “Decentralisation. The News Digest” programme, created with the support of the Swiss-Ukrainian Project “Decentralisation Support in Ukraine” (DESPRO), highlights the work of the local and regional authorities under the quarantine conditions, as well as the decisions made by the government and the parliament, related to the virus spread threat, for the local self-government reform to go on.
In particular, the programme covers the law, introducing amendments to the labour legislation in terms of remote work, entering into force; the discussions between people’s deputies and the Ministry of Healthcare about the prevention of the additional burden transfer to the local budgets in terms of additional payments to the medical staff, involved in the coronavirus counteraction.
