The meeting participants focused on the issues of the administrative and territorial arrangement system; the local self-government bodies and executive power local bodies; the resource basis of the local self-government and its powers; the model of supervision over the Constitution and legislation of Ukraine compliance with the decisions of the local self-government bodies.

‘The present meeting is a step of preparing constitutional amendments. It will be followed by another joint discussion with local self-government deputies from all the regions. Such a discussion is likely to be held next week’, - claimed Oleksandr Kornienko, people’s deputy of Ukraine, the Sluha Narodu party deputy faction first deputy.
