The hromada has renovated an old building for modern ASC, purchased a school bus, repairs roads, and plans to switch to alternative fuel and purchase a waste sorting station.
In terms of population the Kolomakska AH is one of the smallest hromadas of the Kharkiv Oblast, although four villages and one settlement council of the Kolomak Rayon became its part in 2017. Today, there are about 6900 residents.
One of the recent achievements of the Kolomakska AH is their own Administrative Service Centre (ASC).
“While amalgamating we committed ourselves to do everything possible for administrative services to be delivered for people in more comfortable conditions,” said Volodymyr Hurtovyi, Kolomak settlement head.
The old building had to be completely reconstructed, including the roof, windows and indoor premises. Renovation took six months and cost the hromada budget about UAH 2 million.

According to the AH head, the Kolomak ASC plans to establish issuance of id-cards and driver's licenses.
European partners offered their help in ASC equipment. According to Yurii Orel, municipal service adviser of the Kharkov Local Government Development Centre, the Kolomatska AH is one of two hromadas in the Kharkiv Oblast, that won the 4 Round of AH selection to participate in ASC establishment and modernisation (the second hromada is the Zolochivska settlement AH) of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme.
A school bus is a new purchase No2 in the Kolomatska AH. The settlement council purchased it at the expense of its budget. On 5 September new transport has arrived to Rizunenkove Lyceum and will bring children to it from eight settlements.
According to settlement head, roads are among the biggest problems of the Kolomak Rayon.
In order to be able to repair more roads on their own, last winter the hromada purchased an asphalt regenerator.
Another promising business line of the hromada is a plastic recycling project.
The entire landscaping machinery of the Kolomakska amalgamated hromada was purchased at the expense of the funds received from the state infrastructure subvention. According to the settlement head, last year the AH received UAH 3.2 million of infrastructure subvention, and UAH 2.8 million this year.
