Nesolon village council joins Bronykivska AH

On 19 June, the deputies of the Bronyky village council unanimously supported the decision to join the Nesolon village council.

“Last year, in August, the Nesolon village council deputies sent documents to their neighbours, but the Bronykivska AH did not provide its consent to accession. There was a shortage in several deputies’ votes. Today the AH deputies have unanimously supported this decision,” told Serhii Romanovych, adviser on decentralisation from the Zhytomyr LGDC.

Further, it should be a process of registering all necessary documents, and additional elections should be carried out on the territory of the Nesolon village council.

The specialists from the Zhytomyr Local Government Development Centre of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme conducted the informative and explanatory work on implementing the decentralisation reform in the Zhytomyr Oblast and benefits of communities' accession to already formed AHs.

The consultation meeting with the deputies of the Bronykivska AH in the Novohrad-Volynskyi Rayon on accession of the Nesolon village council took place in May.
