The Menska amalgamated hromada of the Chernihiv Oblast will build a waste recycling plant capable of processing 250 thousand solid household waste per year, said Hennadii Prymakov, head of the hromada, on air of the regional TV channel UA: Chernihiv.

According to Mr Prymakov, the plant will be modular (each module is designed for processing 50 thousand tons of waste per year) and will be constructed gradually on an area of ​​7 hectares near the city landfill (as envisaged by the General City Plan).

“There are no such plants in Ukraine, similar ones were built in Austria and Germany,” said the AH head.
