AHs of Poltava Rayon to create joint inclusive and resource centre

Amalgamated hromadas of the Poltava Rayon have started creating their own Inclusive and Resource Centre (IRC).

The first working meeting was held at the Tereshkivska AH. The new Inclusive and Resource Centre will be located in the main settlement of this AH, informed the Poltava Local Government Development Centre, established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and MinRegion.

This institution is planned to serve children with special educational needs not only from the Tereshkivska AH, but also from the Shcherbanivska and Machukhivska AHs of the same Poltava Rayon.

“Establishment of inclusive and resource centres is not a trend, but a requirement of our time. AHs of the Poltava Rayon that actively cooperate with our LGDC have now given a good example of joint work in the extremely important direction for hromadas throughout Ukraine,” says Iryna Balybina, Director of the Poltava LGDC.
