The third wave of enrollment of AH local councils’ deputies to training seminars on topical issues related to deputies’ activity started within the framework of “Strong Councils - Capable Hromadas” project.

Under the project “Strong Councils – Capable Hromadas”, which is being implemented with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme, the Institute of Political Education will organises a series of seminars for AH deputies.

As a result of the first two waves of selection, 200 AH deputies from 23 Ukrainian oblasts received an opportunity to take part in the seminars.

To participate in the third wave of training events that will start in spring of 2019, it is necessary to provide:

• a filled-in questionnaire;

• resume (short biography and experience of public and political activity);

• reference letter from the organisation that delegates the member (local council, etc.).

As a result of the competitive selection, another 100 deputies from AHs will get the opportunity to study during spring-summer 2019.

Tuition, accommodation, meals and travel-related costs of participants will be covered by the project.

Deputies from AHs, which held their elections in 2018, are particularly encouraged to participate.

Deadline to file the documents is 15 February 2019.

All candidates will be notified of the selection results no later than 9 March 2019.
