The Local Systemic Development Programme, implemented within the framework of the USAID Support for Agrarian and Rural Development Project, commences its work and announces a list of partner AHs of the Luhansk, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson Oblasts.

Representatives of the Local Systemic Development Programme visited six oblasts of Ukraine in October with an official visit. The purpose of the visits was to identify partner amalgamated hromadas that during the year will work with the Programme to improve and develop the economic potential on the ground, taking into account the interests of hromada, Government and business. Within the framework of the Local Systemic Development Programme, transparent and innovative tools to manage land and other resources will be implemented and the best experience in effective planning of their use for the next 5-10 years will be applied.

The Local Systemic Development Programme and shortlisted partner AHs will cooperate to create the preconditions for attracting investment, and the basis for this will be an understanding of the economic potential of available resources and the ability to transparently and economically justify planning their rational use.

With this message, the Local Systemic Development Programme informs that the above mentioned mechanisms, tools and knowledge will be to a certain extent provided to 79 partner AHs from the Luhansk, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson Oblasts. Compilation of a brief list of the Programme partner AHs is carried from the general list of partner hromadas, and this process is being currently finalised.
