First in Ukraine decentralisation festival was held in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

The Dnipropetrovsk Local Government Development Centre, established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme, together with the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast State Administration, have planned monthly regional festivals and artistic competitions, that will unite all hromadas of the oblast, within the framework of the sectoral strategy “Culture. Creative Hromada”. The ultimate goal of this sectoral strategy is to improve the quality of cultural services provision, and directly involve all hromada members in the creation of a creative cultural environment.

The first regional festival of this kind started on 12 January 2018 in the Sofiyivska AH. The event is devoted to the revival and sharing of traditions of the Ukrainian Christmas nativity scenes. This time 18 teams from 15 AHs took part in the Festival.
