Oleksiy Chernyshov met with the Ambassador of Canada to Ukraine
Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to Ukraine Larisa Galadza.
In particular, they discussed the results of decentralisation in Ukraine and the significant role of the reform in resisting Russian aggression.
“I was happy to meet with the Ambassador of Canada to Ukraine Larisa Galadza. I was grateful to hear the words of support and recognition of the importance of the decentralisation reform. Decentralisation has significantly contributed to the stability of our state and led to changes in Ukrainian identity. Today, Ukrainians are more united than ever around common values and territory. And now we are working with international partners to prepare for and protect ourselves from all possible threats that the Russians bring to our land,” noted Oleksiy Chernyshov.
“Decentralisation is a really great story to tell. It has reinforced Ukrainian resilience”, said the Ambassador of Canada to Ukraine.
The Minister also conveyed to the Ambassador his vision of the stages of the reform and recovery of Ukraine after there is peace.
