Voluntary firefighting brigades: Polish experience for Ukraine

How were the first voluntary firefighting brigades created in Poland? How are they currently functioning? Can their experience be useful for Ukrainian municipalities? All the issues were covered during a series of training visits to Poland within the project «Firefighters. Improving civil defense of Ukraine locally», having been organized for the last quarter of 2021 by the International Solidarity Foundation within U-LEAD with Europe.
