The Government has approved of the order and conditions of providing subventions from the Road Fund for local road renewal and bridge construction in 11 regions, with the amount of funding being UAH 1,98 billion.

It was claimed by Vladyslav Krykliy, the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine.

“This year Ukravtodor has set the pace of renewing classified roads – more than 3 thousand km from the 4 thousand km have already been done. However, changes at the local roads are much more important and tangible for many people as they daily use them, commuting, taking their kids to school or hospital. Subventions aimed at the local roads enhance living standards in many regions, thus it is important to help the local authorities to renew local roads”, - commented the Government decision Vladyslav Krykliy.
