ANNOUNCEMENT! Public presentation of amendments to the Constitution and Government's priorities on decentralisation to be held on 23 October

On 23 October 2019, a public presentation of amendments to the Constitution and the Government's priorities for reforming local self-government and territorial organisation of power in Ukraine will take place.


The event is organised by the Verkhovna Rada Committee on State Building, Local Governance, Regional and Urban Development in cooperation with the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine and with the participation of associations of local governments.

During the event there will be speeches by:

  • Andriy Klochko, Head of the Committee on State Building, Local Governance, Regional and Urban Development,
  • Serhiy Trofimov, First Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine,
  • Oleksandr Korniyenko, Head of the Subcommittee of the Committee on State Building, Local Governance, Regional and Urban Development, First Deputy Head of the MP’s Faction of the Political Party "Servant of the People",
  • Alyona Babak, Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine,
  • Mykola Solskyi, Head of the Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy,
  • heads of associations of local governments.

Venue: 16 A, Parkova Doroha St., Kyiv (CC "Parkovyi", third floor)

The event starts at 11 a.m. (registration of the participants at 10 a.m.).
