The village of Zabolottsi in the Lviv Oblast was on the verge of disappearing from the map 10 years ago – train and bus lines to the village had been canceled, and there was no way for the village residents to get to work or to school. It was clear that something had to be done and that jobs had to be created in the village. The head of Zabolottsi village council managed to bring people together and to find the way to success.
