Energy Service

Energy service is a mechanism by which local self-government bodies can make their communal facilities (schools, kindergartens, hospitals, etc.) more energy-efficient, using the services of private energy service companies (ESCOs).

The ESCO-mechanism implies that energy-efficient measures in the buildings of budget institutions are carried out by private investors, and local self-government bodies compensate their expenses for several years using the funds saved as a result of reduction of costs for consumption of communal services and energy sources.
