The UCMC-DOBRE project showed photos from the photo expedition “Faces of New Hromadas”.

This summer, within the framework of the project, photographer Vladyslav Sodel visited 10 hromadas of seven oblasts of Ukraine. The photographs capture the moments of life of hromadas’ residents, who change and develop their AHs – the daily work of inhabitants of villages, settlements, cities, bringing real changes in hromadas.

Renewal and work of schools, road repairs, attractions for tourists, space exploration and STEM-education, production modernisation and crafts’ preservation, metal turned into weapons, and creation of Christmas tree decorations – all this makes hromadas’ daily life and their own unique stories.

We would like to recall that the first UCMC-DOBRE photo expedition took place last autumn, and then photographers visited 9 hromadas in seven oblasts of Ukraine. The trip resulted in a collection of photographs, which can be seen in the hromadas’ portfolio in our photo gallery.
