The USAID HOVERLA Activity invites communities to join the forum “Comprehensive Spatial Planning of Communities - The Foundation of Sustainable Development in Ukraine” to be held on 2-4 October in Lutsk.
Speakers at the event will include representatives of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and ministries, leading architects and urbanists, as well as community leaders.
Topics for discussion:
- the role of spatial planning in sustainable development processes;
- harmonization of planning systems at the community level;
- integration of technologies and spatial solutions;
- international partnership in spatial planning;
- creative industries and hubs in modern Ukrainian society;
- community response to climate change.
The program of the forum includes speeches by experts in the field of spatial planning, panel discussions, workshops and other events that will facilitate the exchange of experience and development of cooperation.
The USAID HOVERLA Activity continues to support the Ministry for Restoration of Ukraine in developing documents and processes related to spatial planning for communities.
